Eduardo Navarro Jiminez and his brother Juan Carlos Navarro Ceciliano share a 100-year family history in coffee production. The family owns several farms, and in 2016 Eduardo established Coffee NACE Micromill.

Costa Rica is becoming quite famous for its Honey-processed coffees, like this one as well - typically 100% of the mucilage is left on the coffee seed before drying. The coffee is first harvested and delivered, then sorted to remove defective and damaged beans. The coffee is then depulped, removing only the skin and leaving the mucilage intact; it is then dried on patios or raised beds.
